This Brand exists to escape the box and create Our Own Style of hybrid gear. ImpeK aspires to unite and influence the new-age of underground fashion and art of all kinds. Our Goal is to design apparel that speaks to a new genre and that is defined solely by ITSELF. ImpeK represents the struggle of the underground artist and the dynamic changes within urban culture. Now more than ever we are a a society of multi-faceted opinions, expressions, and people. We embrace that hybridization in its purest form and believe that success and entertainment are one. The world is a place to be molded by those willing to push the bounds. The streets have become ONE, the world is our Playground. Live to Excel, never to Exist.

ImpeK was founded in the spring of 2008 by four friends from Utica, NY. (Ipkis, Dubbs, Thatch, and CJ Day). Our first hoodie's and tee's were hand-dyed in My Grandparents small east-side basement. It was the only option at the time in order to achieve the colorways We wanted to use. This was before the neon-craze of the late 2000's and there was nowhere to buy neon blanks yet sooo we dyed our own and then printed them locally. Over time ImpeK released various new styles and gathered a large local fan base. Eventually the decision was made to expand into more graphical variety and to take a more serious approach. We worked and saved every penny for several months, built a website, filed paperwork, and researched endlessly to improve the quality of our clothing. Then in Sept. 2009, Impek attended the M.A.G.I.C. Fashion Convention in Las Vegas and got our first real taste of the fashion world. The show was a massive experience but we were unprepared in many ways and the newly crippled economy had little to offer by way of mercy. All of us learned from the trials during that week in Vegas and the hard months that followed. Since then the brand has taken time out to re-organize and expand its horizons. We appreciate all the patience and support from our supporters and fans as we continue to grow. Expect to see several new tee's as well as some headwear released in the near future. ImpeK is now stationed both in Tampa, FL. and run from Utica, NY.
